SOLUTION: Exchange 2010 Backup fails: The system cannot find the path specified

Problem:
Windows Backup fails to backup Exchange 2010 with error: Exchange 2010 Backup fails: The system cannot find the path specified

Symptoms:

If you run windows backup in command prompt you may get more logs in Applicaton Event log and command window:

In command window:

Running a consistency check for the application Exchange.
The consistency check failed for the component d1f65e6c-1d2e-476b-9389-e815fc813
a7e (Microsoft Exchange Server\Microsoft Information Store\EXCMBX1\d1f45e6c-1d2e
-476b-9389-e815fc813a6E).
The backup of the application Exchange failed.
The backup of volume EXCHANGEDB(D:) could not be completed. Error: The system cannot find the path specified.
The backup operation stopped before completing.
Summary of the backup operation:

The backup operation stopped before completing.
The following applications were not backed up because the consistency check
of the application data failed. The applications will not be available for
recovery using this backup. Please contact the application vendor for help in
resolving this issue.

Cause:
Not enough shadow copy storage space configured on the disk drive where Exchange databases reside. In this example drive D

Resolution:

1- Open my computer select any drive right click any disk drive, select configure shadow copies menu item
2- Select disk drive Exchange databese resides. (The drive that is backed up with Windows Backup) and click settings
3- On Storage are Section set en least 4 GB for Maximumu Size field.
4- Click OK OK.
5- Run Windows Backup for backing up Exchange again.

More info:

The following error occurs when a log file is missed in log folder normal ESE operation. But in this case, since shadow copy storage space is consumed, the expected log file cannot be found in shadow copy storage. Dont think there is actually mising log file in production database log folder.
